Take turns grocery shopping for your neighbours!

In this unprecedented period of confinement, the risk of contamination from the coronavirus is very real and forces us to change our habits. Here is a good idea suggested by several of our users and initiated by @CarolEspace on Twitter:

“Go to the supermarket alternatively. Make your order in a @WhatsApp group and balance your expenses with the @tricount app”

We like this idea for two reasons:

Firstly, it makes it easier to help neighbours with grocery shopping; by taking turns, decreasing trips to the supermarket, and limiting the need to reimburse each other directly afterwards. - this limits the physical interactions.

Then, on a “human” side, this idea helps build relationships with neighbours that you don’t necessarily know, meeting new people and / or simply help out others, which is important if your neighbours are elderly or isolated.

What do you think?
